Hello, I’m Shahab Bahrami, a dedicated wildfire analyst, entrepreneur, and technology leader specializing in AI and sensing solutions. As the Chief Technology Officer and Co-founder of SenseNet Inc, based in Vancouver, Canada, I focus on creating innovative technologies to mitigate the effects of wildfires. My primary role involves leading cross-functional teams to develop scalable sensor networks and detection platforms, drastically cutting down wildfire response times.
My journey in technology has spanned over seven years and it continues to fuel my passion for creating impactful solutions at the intersection of innovation and real-world challenges. With an educational background that includes a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of British Columbia, I've expanded knowledge in AI, 5G networks, and smart cities. Having authored over 100 scientific papers and books, I always strive for excellence in research, which is underscored by multiple awards and fellowships I've received along the way.
