I'm Jennifer Chiang, a principal and lead for AI Institutes at AWS Startups North America and a two-time tech founder who has worn many professional hats, from the corporate world to the military. My journey has been as diverse as it is rewarding, rooted in passion and the grit that comes from experience.
Starting as a soldier in the Canadian Army Reserves, I spent twelve years sharpening my skills in logistics and resource management. This discipline laid the foundation for my entrepreneurial ventures. As an award-winning founder in the influencer marketing industry, I developed a pioneering technology that connected brands with over 98 million consumers globally.
Education is at the core of my values, with a degree from the University of British Columbia and experiences at the MIT Sloan School of Management. I've had the opportunity to mentor and advise startups from various prestigious programs, which keeps me inspired and engaged in the vibrant startup scene.
Beyond business, I am passionate about making a social impact. I've co-founded The 3AM Club, supporting maternal resilience, and I strive to give back through multiple mentorship roles.
