How to create a website that presents your brand

Onliweb makes it simple to create a stunning, professional website with built-in desktop and mobile frameworks—no need to worry about responsiveness! Follow these steps to customize your site's look and feel.

To start designing, go to Edit Mode.

This is where you can customize every aspect of your website’s appearance.In Edit Mode, you can personalize your site with the following options:

Custom Photo

Add your display picture (DP) or brand logo to make your website instantly recognizable.

Tagline

Create a catchy and memorable tagline that represents your personality, mission, or brand.

Background

Choose a background image or video to make your website visually appealing.

Layout

Select from various layout options for your photo and tagline section:

Top-down: Photo above tagline

Sideways: Photo beside tagline

Wide: Expanded layout for a bold look

Appearance

Pick between light or dark color themes to match your vibe.

Buttons

Choose button styles with:

Different border radius options (rounded or sharp corners)

Filled or outlined button backgrounds

Fonts

Select from an optimal list of fonts to find the one that best represents your style.

Preview in Live Mode

While making updates in Edit Mode, switch to Live Mode to see exactly how your changes will appear to visitors.

Auto-Save Feature

All your changes are automatically saved, so you never lose your progress while experimenting with different designs. Once you are done with your changes, hit "Done" or exit the edit mode.

Adding blocks to your website

Onliweb allows you to enhance your website by adding various blocks tailored to your needs. Each block serves a specific purpose, helping you present content and connect with your audience effectively. Here’s how to add and use them:

Links

A block to display important links to your social media, websites, or resources.
Share your Instagram profile, YouTube channel, or an affiliate shop link for quick access.

Headings

Create section titles or highlight important text to organize your content.
Add headings like “About Me,” “Services,” or “Portfolio” to structure your website.

Posts

Use this block to add blogs, articles, or detailed content about yourself.
Publish a blog post, share an article, or write a compelling “About Me” section.

Offers

Showcase services or products with details and pricing.
Add a consultation booking option, promote a digital download, offer commissioned artwork, or sell items directly from your site.

File

Share downloadable files like PDFs, spreadsheets, or images.
Provide a media kit, resume, or presentation for clients and collaborators to download.

Forms

Add interactive forms for audience engagement.
Create a Contact Form to receive inquiries or a Subscribe Form to build your mailing list.

How to Add Blocks

Go to your page.

Tap on "Add Block" or "+" button.

Choose the block type (Links, Headings, Posts, etc.) from the menu.

Customize the block by adding content, adjusting styles, and linking actions.

Drag and sort your blocks through edit mode.

Preview your changes in Live Mode to ensure everything looks perfect.

Steps to Add Social Profiles

Enter Edit Mode:
Navigate to your Onliweb dashboard and click Edit Mode.

Add Social Profiles:

Select the Social Profiles section.

Enter the full URL or just your username for platforms like Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, TikTok, X (formerly Twitter), and more.

Customize Icon Order:

Drag and drop icons to sort the order in which they appear.

Highlight the most important profiles by placing them first.

Display or Hide Icons:

Choose which icons to display or hide based on your preferences.

Adjust Placement:

Move the social icons to appear at the top or bottom of your profile.

Save and Preview:

Changes are auto-saved. Use Live Mode to preview how your social icons will appear to visitors.

Sharing your website

Share on socials, email, merchandise and more

Sharing your Onliweb website is the key to connecting with your audience and expanding your reach. Here’s how to do it effectively:

1. Publish Your Page

Ensure your website is ready to go by publishing it.

Verify your email address to make your site live.

2. Get Your Unique URL

Your unique Onliweb URL is created using your username (e.g., onli.bio/username).

Copy your URL directly from your dashboard.

3. Share Your Website

Social Media Bios

Make it easy for your followers to find you by adding your Onliweb link to your social profiles:

Instagram: Add your Onliweb link in the “Website” section of your profile.

LinkedIn: Edit your profile and add the link under the “Contact Info” section.

TikTok: Paste your Onliweb link in the “Bio” field.

Twitter (X): Add your link in the “Website” field of your profile.

Email Signature

Include your Onliweb URL in your email signature to allow clients, collaborators, or friends to explore your website.

4. Promote Your Link

Post updates or stories about your new website on social media.

Use a QR code generator to create a scannable link for events or printed materials.

With Onliweb, you can easily create and manage paid consultations, meetings, or coaching sessions to connect with your audience. Follow these steps to get started:

Create a New "Meeting" or "Consultation"

Navigate to your Onliweb dashboard.

Click "Add Block" and select "Meeting" or "Consultation" from the available options.

Add a Title, Description, and Photos

Provide a clear and engaging title for your session (e.g., "1:1 Career Coaching Session").

Write a description that highlights the session's purpose and benefits. Be specific about what clients can expect (e.g., "In this 60-minute session, we will create a personalized career roadmap tailored to your goals").

Optionally, upload relevant photos to enhance the appeal of your block (e.g., your professional photo, a screenshot of a past session, or a thematic image).

Set a Price

Choose a fixed price for your session in $ or list it as free if you'd like to offer a complimentary service.

Select the Duration

Use the duration dropdown to pick the session length that suits your service. Options include 30 minutes, 60 minutes, or other predefined durations.

With Call-to-Action (CTA): Includes a button to encourage bookings.

Set Visibility Options:

Public visibility is great for widespread promotions.

Select if require approval:

Enable if you would like to approve the request before it's confirmed. With approval enabled, you will have an option to accept or reject a request.

Keep it disabled for requests to be auto approved.

To accept payments, you'll be prompted to connect your payout method using Stripe. This step ensures secure and seamless payment processing.

Create a New "Digital Download" Block

Go to your Onliweb account.

Click "Add Block" and select "Download" from the list of options.

Add a Title, Description, and Preview Images

Enter a compelling title for your product (e.g., "Social Media Strategy Template").

Write a description that highlights the value of your download. Include details about what it contains and how it benefits the buyer.

Example: "This editable Canva template includes 30 content ideas, a monthly calendar, and tips to optimize your social media strategy."

Set the Price

Navigate to your Onliweb account.

Go to Settings > Calendar to access your availability options.

Select Your Availability

Specify the days of the week and times when you are available for bookings.

Connect with Google Calendar

Click on the option to Connect with Google Calendar.

Setup payout method

Get payments directly to your bank with Stripe

To receive payments directly to your bank account, Onliweb uses secure Stripe integration for managing payouts. Follow these steps to set up your payout method quickly and securely.

Access Payment Settings

Log in to your Onliweb account.

Go to Settings > Payments.

Click Add Payout Method to begin the setup process.

Choose an Account Type

Stripe offers two types of accounts:

Individual Account

Ideal if you're a freelancer, creator, or running a personal business.

Requires basic personal details.

Business Account

Best suited for registered businesses or teams.

Requires your business registration details and tax information.

Input Required Information

Stripe will prompt you to fill out specific details based on your account type. Below is a list of input fields with examples:

For Individual Accounts:

Full Name: Your legal name (e.g., John Smith).

Date of Birth: In the format MM/DD/YYYY (e.g., 01/15/1990).

Our service fee

How we charge you and your customers

We have a very simple pricing model. Our total cost per transaction is 10% plus $1. This helps us run our platform and pay our partner's payment processing fees.

For any paid offer (meeting, item, or digital download), we split the fee between the provider and the customer. The customer pays 5% plus $0.50 upon booking, and the provider is charged 5% plus $0.50 when the transaction is complete.

Price Breakdown

Let's say there's a $100 consultation meeting listed by the provider.

Upon booking, the total amount the customer will pay is $100 + (5% + $0.50) = $105.50.

After completing the transaction, the total amount the provider will receive is $100 - (5% + $0.50) = $94.50.
