I am Edward Tung, a dedicated entrepreneur passionate about innovation and problem-solving. As the Co-Founder & CEO of Storagehotel, I have thrived in making technology-driven storage solutions accessible to post-secondary students across Canada. My role involves crafting solutions that integrate convenience, technology, and exceptional service.

My educational foundation is anchored in a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing and Entrepreneurship from UBC's Sauder School of Business. This academic experience, coupled with my tireless drive, has equipped me with the tools to excel in fast-paced, dynamic environments.

Beyond my ventures, I am a mentor at entrepreneurship@UBC, where I guide early-stage ventures through critical phases of development and growth. Sharing my journey and supporting new entrepreneurs aligns with my belief in the power of building communities and fostering innovation.

In my professional journey, I have explored various roles, from Marketing Specialist at MLA Canada to developer and strategist positions in different industries. These experiences have enriched my skill set, blending marketing acumen with technological fluency.

My journey with Storagehotel began with a straightforward concept: making storage accessible, stress-free, and tailored for Canada’s dynamic post-secondary student population.

### Revolutionizing Storage with Technology
From my years of being a Marketing Specialist to co-founding Storagehotel, I recognized the profound impact of digital innovation. The world around us is evolving at a pace unseen before, and staying ahead means embracing technology, not shying away from it.

In building Storagehotel, technology became our backbone. Leveraging tech to streamline the process, we reduced the complexities associated with storing physical goods. We didn’t just want to provide space; we sought to offer an experience that resonated with the tech-savvy younger generation.

### Entrepreneurial Spirit: Building a Company from the Ground Up
The entrepreneurial spirit has been a constant in my life. From my humble beginnings at 16 with Hard Work Yard Work to navigating complex projects at MLA Canada, I've continually seen challenges as opportunities. Founding Storagehotel was no different. The challenge was immense, yet invigorating. My goal was to create a service where Canada’s students could place their belongings without a second thought.

This vision of stress-free storage is deeply rooted in my experience of solving problems creatively, whether through project management or marketing strategies. By wearing multiple hats, I've honed a holistic understanding of what it takes to steer a startup from conception to growth.
