About Carolina
Hi, I'm Carolina Cifuentes Vecino, based in Canada but with global insights rooted in my diverse professional background. Currently, I serve as the Executive Director at Access2Innovate, where I channel my years of experience in management and communications to drive meaningful change. My journey has taken me from the diplomatic spheres in Colombia to the dynamic educational environments of North Vancouver.
Before my current role, I thrived as the Engagement and Development Manager at Zen Maker Lab, where I established impactful programs aimed at fostering STEAM education across multiple districts. This role allowed me to collaborate with various stakeholders, from local authorities to educational institutions, further sharpening my skills in partnerships and community engagement.
Academically, I'm advancing my expertise with a Master's degree in Project Management. The pursuit of lifelong learning is something I deeply value. Also, I hold a Certified Green Project Manager credential, reflecting my commitment to sustainable and innovative practices.
Passion fuels my professional endeavors. Whether creating robust social media strategies or managing complex projects, my aim is to consistently deliver value while inspiring others to achieve their best. My background in journalism with Telemundo and diverse freelance experiences have honed my communication skills, making me adept in both English and Spanish.
Outside the professional realm, I am an advocate for lifelong learning and adaptability—traits I believe are essential in today's fast-paced world. I am excited to connect with others who share a vision for innovation and creative problem-solving, offering consulting services to bring these ideas to life.
